Mix football and Trigun and what do you get? You get S4 League an explosive futuristic sports game. S4 stands for Stylish eSper Shooting Sports, that pretty much sums up the games features. The game itself is played by trying to get a ‘ball’ into the opponents goal. That always sounds much easier than it really is. S4 League give its players skills and guns to accomplish this task.
Style is something this game has a lot of. It look like it was taken right from one of your favorite anime movies. The animation and visuals are absolutely breathtaking. Everything is so beautiful its hard to know where to begin explaining the awesomeness of it. The characters, the guns, the clothing, the lights, the arenas, the interface, everything has been done with special care to keep the style intact. This is the type of game you will enjoy just because it looks good.
Lets talk about the shooting part of this game shall we. I don’t know what it is about anime and big guns, but S4 League has got it down. Keeping with the overall style the guns are huge and fantastic. I mean the starter guns look like something out of Trigun. More guns are availble from the shop and they are huge power packers. Like the rail gun! Yeah, I’ll let you download and play the game to try that one out. And for those fans who don’t like the guns, players are givien a sword also. You use your guns or melee weapons to shoot the other team members. Once that players life line is depleted they reset to a start point. You use the guns and sword to remove players in this fashion to get the ball and move it to the goal.
