Ace Online :Game Review
ACE Online is one of very very few MMOs where the back story really matters to the players. In the game there are two nations at war. The Bygeniou regular army or the Arlington rebel army. When you reach level 11 you have to choose which side to join and you will remain with that side for your entire account. That means when you create a new character you will be placed with that nation. The only way to switch sides would be to create a new account and start over. So choose wisely. After choosing your side you can participate in the wars between both sides. This is called the ACE system. Each kill of another player from the opposing nation gives your side points which escalates the war provoking a side to send out warships. Successfully destroying warships gives the winning side access to the disputed territory. Now doesn’t that sound like fun! And if you are good enough you can even become President of your nation.
This game is a hidden gem. Its tucked away on the Internet just waiting to be something big. This pleasant mix of genres is very well done. They have effectively taken the wash,rinse, and repeat feel out of the MMO and replaced it with explosive action. The only thing left to say is go and play the game.
